Disneyland Employee Shames Mother For Wearing 'Inappropriate' Shirt

Melissa Behnken of San Diego said her first family vacation to Disneyland was ruined by an elderly park employee who shamed her for having a large chest and showing what he deemed was too much cleavage.

According to MailOnline, she was enjoying California Adventure Park in Anaheim with her three children and husband, a U.S. Marine who just returned from deployment, when she was approached by the park employee.

"This gentleman out of nowhere comes up to me and just says, 'You need to pull your top up,'" she reportedly told a local news station. "I was looking at him like, 'Excuse me? Are you serious?'"

Behnken was told by the employee that she was dressed inappropriately for a family-friendly environment and that she should put on a sweater. She was wearing a cheetah print tank top with a black see-through t-shirt over it.

"I guess women with large chests are expected to wear turtlenecks their whole lives," she said.

Behnken filed a report with guest relations and then another formal complaint with the corporation. Someone from Disneyland followed up and called Behnken to apologize for their employee’s behavior.

"Maybe they need to do more exclusive training on what is OK to say to people that come there," she said.
