Drunk Mother Forgets Where She Left Her Baby

Terra Brandenburg was drunk when she crashed her BMW X-3 SUV into a bridge in West Linn, Oregon. The 31-year-old mother had her four-month-old baby and Doberman Pinscher with her. Yet, that didn't stop her from walking to a 76 gas station to pick up a small box of chardonnay.

After she walked out of the gas station, she walked back in shouting at the staff. She said her car was missing and her baby was missing. The staff was able to calm her down and convince her to call the police.

As the police arrived, they initially were going to issue an amber alert. They soon found out the car was lost and not stolen. Brandenburg then tried to run away, but the police were able to track her and arrest her.

The baby and dog were unharmed. Brandenburg was charged with child neglect, DUI, initiating a false report, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, reckless driving and criminal mistreatment.

Her blood alcohol content was 0.25--three times the legal limit. The baby is currently in the care of her father.
