Mayor Reveals Horrific Thing Sheriff Husband Did To Her After She Drank Wine

After separating from her husband, a mayor has revealed something very disturbing. The Florida mayor reports that her estranged husband sexually assaulted her during their marriage on at least three occasions when she was unconscious. The husband, who is a veteran law enforcement agent, admits to taking advantage of his wife when she was vulnerable. The couple have separated and she's pressing charges against him for rape.

Millissa Holland, mayor of the city of Palm Coast, Florida, is pressing charges against her husband of four years for rape. Holland alleges that her husband assaulted her when she was on pain killers for a knee injury. The couple divorced in 2016, but she declined to press charges at the time because she relied on his health insurance to pay for their sick daughter's medical bills. Now that she's been elected mayor, she's employed, and she wants to take action before the statutes of limitations runs out.

The 53-year-old woman claims her husband, David O'Brien, raped her three times in 2013 when she was asleep and on the drug Tramadol. Tramadol is a pain medication usually prescribed for moderate to severe pain, and can be very powerful when mixed with alcohol. Holland says she mixed the drugs with wine before going to bed at a time when she was suffering from a knee injury.

Holland was on the pills for just four days, but she believes she was assaulted three times. She confronted her husband about the incident, and he allegedly confessed to 'taking advantage' of her while she was unconscious.

Holland believes the sexual assaults went on for hours. She has a vague memory of him pulling her to the end of the bed so that he could perform oral sex on her.

Holland reports that she fell asleep fully clothed, but woke up undressed. She said she felt strange and had vague memories of her husband assaulting her.

David O'Brien is also a public servant in Palm Coast, Florida. He worked for Flagler County Sheriff's Office for more than 20 years.

The couple had only been married for a year when the alleged assault took place. O'Brien contacted a friend a month after the incident back in 2013 and told him that his wife was going to accuse him of rape. At the time, someone from the Sheriff's office called Holland to ask her if she planned to press charges, but she said 'no'.

Holland said she depended on her husband's insurance at the time, but now she's ready to fight for justice.

O'Brien admits to the rape, writing in an email, "I take full responsibility for all my actions and for raping (redacted) and causing her so much emotional and physical pain and abuse."

In a recorded phone conversation, Holland was instructed to ask her husband, "How do you live with yourself knowing that you raped your wife?"

O'Brien responded, "I don’t, I don’t, I don’t live with myself. OK. I don’t at all."

In April, O'Brien filed for divorce and resigned from the police department because he was going to be given a bad review, and subsequently fired for it.
