Mom Was Unaware Son's Logo Shirt Was Actually An Inappropriate Sign

Parent shaming seems to be a popular sport, especially on social media. There are parents who are afraid to post photos of their children these days. Complete strangers will pic the image apart and cry child abuse for the smallest thing.

One mom is completely red-faced over a red t-shirt she got from a friend, and she thought she was going to get raked over the coals for her error. Thankfully, a lot of parents are just laughing off the mistake.

Shelly McCullar got a box full of hand-me-downs for her 10-year-old son. The box came from a friend, and the Texas mom didn't stop to fully examine each and every shirt. Unfortunately, something unexpected slipped by.

Her son went to school one day in one of his new shirts. It was a red t-shirt with what appeared to be a big, yellow 'M' on it, and the words 'I'm lovin' it' were printed underneath.

The child thought it was a shirt from McDonald's. After all, the golden arches and the slogan 'I'm lovin' it' have been ingrained in our cultural consciousness. The boy walked around in school for most of the day, and most teachers also just thought the shirt was an advertisement for the fast food empire.

Then, one person noticed something strange, and took a closer look.

The yellow 'M' on the young boy's t-shirt was not, in fact, an 'M'. It was a yellow set of women's legs, knees up, from a perspective one might imagine a gynecologist might be familiar with.

It gave a whole new meaning to the 'I'm lovin' it" caption.

"I thought it was like McDonald's," the boy said on a video. He said the teachers 'thought it was McDonald's too'.

The mom apologized profusely, including on Facebook. " I promise from now on to monitor what my kids are wearing! I had no idea Anthony wore this to school!!" she wrote.

"Just to clarify, I would never let my kid wear something like this. A friend had given me some hand me down clothes for Anthony. I haven’t had the chance to completely go through them. I will tonight though!!"

"Through my embarrassment, I did lmao!!" McCullar added.

Instead of getting slammed for her mistake, other parents are hysterical.

"I am dying laughing," said one person, who emphasized the comment with multiple emoticons.

"Haha this is great lol... it's things like this that embarrass you the most the unintentional LOL," commented another.

"It took me a couple secs to figure it out. LMAO," said another.

Of course, when it comes to social media, if you wait long enough, the shamers will come. One person completely blasted the mother, saying she didn't believe the story. She thinks the mom pulled the stunt to get attention.

"Oh please ... nobody can be this stupid ... so you didn't see your son at breakfast, or wave goodbye as he walked out the door to the bus, or when you walked him to the bus, or see him at all in the car when you possibly drove him to school?!? Really?!? What, do you have blinders on when you're getting your kid off to school, or his he just on his own?!" the woman complained.

"You're full of crap. This is obviously a staged stunt to get views, and a shameful one at that to humiliate your son like this. You should be protecting him from stuff like this, not promoting it!"
