Little Girl Loses Chunks Of Hair After Using Celebrity-Endorsed Conditioner

Eliana Lawrence had a head full of curly red hair until she tried a new kind of hair conditioner.

Just before her 10th birthday, Eliana had a horrible experience with a "safe" and "all-natural" product. In fact, at first, when her hair started falling out, she was worried she had cancer.

Eliana's mom noted the first time she combed out Eliana's hair after using the conditioner, almost a third of it came out. Her mom is also certain that Wen Hair Care cleansing conditioner did the damage.

It was clear that Eliana's hair started to fall out after coming in contact with the product, and all of her daughter's red hair fell off her head after just three applications.

Moreover, thousands of other consumers have also made complaints of hair loss after using Wen Hair Care products. In fact, the FDA has 127 consumer complaints against Wen on file.

Furthermore, Wen's parent company has admitted to the FDA it's received more than 21,000 customer complaints.

All the FDA can do is put out an alert that it has gotten numerous reports that this hair care product has caused hair loss, balding and rashes.

It turns out that the current laws give the government agency minimal control over the huge cosmetics industry. The FDA cannot recall personal care products even if they deem them to be unsafe

So even if the FDA ultimately concludes Wen Hair products caused this girl's hair loss and the large number of complaints the FDA has received, the agency cannot force a recall.
