One student at Syracuse University in New York decided to have some fun with the rowdy next door neighbors in her dorm who spent a lot of time indulging in raucous lovemaking.
Jenna Levine, 19, obviously has a good sense of humor, as she eventually ended up on Twitter complaining about her passionate fellow residents but after she left a note on their door.
She penned a note to the residents of Room 338 a letter about their nocturnal activities, requesting them to keep the noise levels down in future.
Jenna put up a picture of the letter on Twitter, captioning it “college is weird” and writing “boutta stick this under my neighbor's door” on the pic.
The note read: "Hello neighbor, Please have sex a little more quietly please.
'Some of us are trying to nap and not be reminded of how alone I am...feel free to make all the love you want.
Just please, make it nasty at a lower volume. Thank you!"
The next day Jenna received a postcard posted under her door, accompanied by a bar of chocolate.
She posted photographs of the nice reply on Twitter. The postcard had photos of bananas on it.
It said: "Dearest neighbors, I'm so so incredibly sorry about that. I didn't realise how loud I was being, and ya know, sometimes have loud sex is low key kinda hot but obviously at your cost, which I apologise so sincerely for.
I'm so so sorry, hope this hasn't been occurring too often, and thanks so much for the incredible and hilarious card.
I will for sure try to keep it nasty at a significantly lower level. And hey, don't worry, you're not alone forever."
Hilarious notes go viral.
