Tiffany Trump Makes Big Mistake - Ends Up Humiliated

Donald Trump's youngest daughter has been fortunate enough to remain at least slightly out of the spotlight, but a recent mistake has put her right in it.

The fashion world is snubbing the Trump family left and right it seems. Recently, First Lady Melania Trump was conveniently left off Vanity Fair's 2017 International Best-Dressed List. Before that, Mrs. Trump was snubbed by a number of designers, who vowed never to work with the former fashion model. Ivanka Trump's eponymous fashion brand was snubbed by a number of retail outlets who refuse to sell her fashions. Tiffany Trump attended fashion week last year in New York City and no one wanted to sit next to her. Pitiful pictures show her sitting all alone surrounded by empty chairs. Now, Tiffany Trump has to beg for invitations to fashion parties.

The youngest Trump daughter recently headed to Georgetown University to begin law school. You might not have heard, considering it was overshadowed by coverage of Malia Obama's arrival at Harvard University. While the press was busy trying to cover the former first daughter, the current first daughter quietly settled in with little to no fanfare.

Miss Trump covered her own educational move on her Instagram account. She posted photos of her huge law textbooks, showing off her new school logo cap. But she didn't stay school-minded for very long. The term just started, but Tiffany had already set her sights on wrangling herself an invitation to the 'Harper's Bazaar Icon' party.

The annual party usually plays host to a wide array of celebrities and famous personalities and is slated for Friday in New York City. Tiffany had a publicist shoot off an email to Harper's Bazaar Magazine in an attempt to get her in.

“Hi, I wanted to email on behalf of the First Daughter Tiffany Trump. She is in town for NYFW and attending a few events. She would love to possibly attend the Bazaar Icons party. Please let me know if this could be accommodated,” wrote the publicist, who claims to be representing the youngest female Trump.

The representative didn't wait very long for an answer. The very next day, another email was sent which, according to Giulia Melucci, vice president for public relations at Harper’s, reeked of desperation. The rep said they just wanted to make sure the message got through.

"We're dot-org," Melucci said. "It's kind of obvious."

“I was shocked,” Melucci added. “I had just taken a barre class with Uma Thurman, so maybe the celebrity was just kind of sparking off me.”

Melucci tweeted, with a photo of Miss Trump, "I’m perplexed. Shouldn’t she be studying torts right now? What about the torts?” Melucci told W.

“The weird part was the request to be seated near @jamesamarcus & John Jeremiah Sullivan but far from Rebecca Solnit,” joked Harper’s contributing writer Bruce Barcott.

While the people at Harper’s had a few tweets at Tiffany’s expense, it’s not clear if she succeeded in her mission to secure an invitation. She’s so far refused to comment on the issue. Perhaps she’s too busy picking out what to wear.
