Woman Loses Over 100 Pounds By Cutting Out Her Daily 15 Cups Of Coffee

A woman from Northern Ireland struggled for years with her weight. After giving up one thing, everything else seemed to fit into place and she lost over 100 pounds.

Lorraine O'Loughlin, a 28-year-old mother of three, was in a vicious cycle. She'd always struggled with her weight, but after having her kids, things seemed to go downhill fast.

The young mother struggled with insomnia and was exhausted.

She had difficulties getting through the day because she was so tired. She would fill up on coffee, drinking up to 15 cups per day, each with three teaspoons of sugar, just to keep her going.

At night, when she couldn't sleep, she'd binge on potato chips and chocolate treats.

Somewhere along the line, O'Loughlin finally figured out that coffee was not helping her cope with insomnia; it was causing it. She cut coffee out of her daily diet and began eating healthy meals in the daytime.

Soon, everything else fell into place. She could sleep at night, and she had more energy in the day.

In time, O'Loughlin went from 266 pounds to around 160. She still drinks coffee, but strictly limits herself to four cups per day.

"I don't miss it at all now though - I'm now eating healthily and get a good night's sleep so my body no longer needs to caffeine to function," she says. "Everything's different now I've lost the weight, I was so shy beforehand and never even wanted to leave the house."

Now, O'Loughlin's out all the time with her kids. "My confidence now is just amazing - my whole family have noticed a massive difference in me."
