Woman Marries Long-Lost Love Who Has Terminal Cancer - Then Learns His Dark Secret

One woman wanted to make the best of the time she had left with the man she loved, so she married him. Unfortunately for her, the limited amount of time that she believed they had together was a hoax.

A conman has been caught out for pretending to be a stage-four cancer patient after multiple women stepped forward claiming that his diagnosis was a lie. Mr. Ken Boyer made international headlines earlier this year after he reconnected on Facebook and married his long-lost love, Michelle Kimbrell.

Painted as a father-of-four whose dying wish was to marry his long-lost love, Mr. Boyer’s scam was revealed when a handful of his past lovers recognized him on the news.

Mr. Boyer had everyone fooled when he convinced the world he was dying of cancer and fulfilled his dying wish to marry his long-lost love. However, when Barbara Jones, Trish Marsee, Karen Hagerty and Chery Alvarez recognized Mr. Boyer on the news, he was outed as a fraud and a thief.

“He’s not a victim,” Ms. Marsee, a hairdresser from Florida, confirmed. “He’s a predator.”

All four of these women have accused Mr. Boyer of being a modern-day Casanova who has faked his cancer diagnosis to elicit sympathy and financial gain. Ms. Jones, 63, a long-term ex-girlfriend of Mr. Boyer, alleged that she loaned him $22,000 which he spent on dental work, repairs to his Harley Davidson motorbike and financial investments.

“He broke me,” Ms. Jones confessed. “I’ll never be the same person I was before.”

Ms. Hagerty claimed that Mr. Boyer proposed to her during their relationship; however, he later broke off their engagement despite having her try on a ring. Mr. Boyer supposedly told Ms. Hagerty that he did not expect to make it to his birthday this year and later, after breaking off their engagement, would use the very same ring promised to Ms. Hagerty to propose to his current wife, Michelle Kimbrell.

Mr. Boyer's own daughter, Hannah, has condemned him, describing him as a habitual liar who went so far as to shave his eyebrows and head to convince people that he was undergoing chemotherapy. “He’s been lying to people and stealing from people for as long as I can remember,” Hannah stated.

After reporters visited Mr. Boyer’s property in Missouri, where he lives with Ms. Kimbrell, they discovered that he was in very fine physical shape, with a full head of silver hair, eyebrows intact, a deep tan and a well-trimmed beard.

Video recordings of the incident showed the couple were incredibly hostile, with Mr. Boyer threatening the reporter with a gun. “I have a gun and a permit to use it,” Mr. Boyer barked. When asked about his cancer diagnosis, Mr. Boyer grew even more furious, stating that its “none of [their] goddamn business!” Mr. Boyer went on to deny ever slighting his past lovers, labelling them as “scorned women.”

“They never gave me a goddamn dime,” Mr. Boyer insisted. “I took them everywhere. I treated them like queens.”

It is believed that Mr. Boyer used social media sites like Facebook to woo potential victims. One of Mr. Boyer’s four ex-wives revealed that her sister suffered and died from leukemia, indicating that Mr. Boyer must have picked up enough information on the disease to pass himself off as a sufferer.
