New Video: Toni Braxton & Trey Songz – Yesterday

Toni Braxton is back with a new album, new look, and new relationship status. The iconic R&B songtress has a new single “Yesterday” with one of our favorites, Trey Songz. After their whole make-out session at the Soul Train Awards this year, we were hoping for an “Invented Sex” sequel. However, that’s not what we got. The two don’t even appear together in the video, and it looks like they shot their scenes at different times.

Toni looks absolutely amazing in this video, and goes through wigs like water. We never saw this collaboration coming, but we sure do love it. Trey and Toni’s vocals together are like a “raspy heaven”. The video also has cameos from LA Lakers Shannon Brown, Ron Artest and Brooke Hogan.

Toni Braxton’s body is killing these 20-somethings…That’s a true DIVA! This video got us hype to see the Soul Train Awards now.

Fab Photos: Diddy’s 40th Birthday Party

The self proclaimed “King of NYC”, Sean “Diddy” Combs took over New York City last night for his 40th Birthday Party, and held his birthday celebration at The Grand Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. If you didn’t know, Diddy knows how to throw a party, and everybody and their mama was there. The event was also hosted by Ciroc Vodka, of course.

This party was talked about so much it became a trending topic on Twitter (#outsidediddyparty). Last night was a little reunion as well, as Diddy and Lil’ Kim kissed and made up. The Queen Bee showed up to the party looking a hot mess of course. We guess that her recent photo shoot was just that a photo shoot, not a new look.

Events: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in NYC

Last night in NYC, the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place and everyone looked amazing. Celebs such as Keri Hilson, Jay-Z, Fergie, and even Dr. Dre all came out to watch the supermodels hit the runway. The Black Eyed Peas were the performers of the night. We forgot they even had an album out. It appears to be a very dressy event, and everyone looked nice. (Jay-Z in a bow tie pure comedy )

Its funny how you were considered a supermodel if you were on the cover of Vogue or Elle, but nowadays you have to be strutting the Victoria’s Secret runway or gracing the catalog cover to even be recognized.

Victoria’s Secret put on the sexiest runway show on the planet. These girls actually eat and work out to stay fit. You can view more pics from the event after the jump.

Video: Rihanna Nokia Live Concert

Rihanna is a media beast! We know everyone was having a hard time viewing Rihanna’s Nokia Concert over in London. Supposedly she didn’t do that bad of a job, and she looked good we must say.

The concert had special appearances from Jay-Z & Young Jeezy. The pop star is in heavy promo mode for this album, Rated R, which has already been leaked. We have been hearing mixed reviews, but we love it!

Rihanna is really coming into her own as artist, you really can’t compare her to anyone. She may not be a vocal acrobat, but she does have her own unique sound. Some of her best work on the album are with Ne-Yo & Justin Timberlake, and they bring something out of her that most writers and producers can’t.

Chanel Iman for H&M…So Fab!

Chanel Iman is just becoming a brand all on her own now. This girl is just everywhere, and her range is crazy!. There aren’t many high fashion models that can cross over into mainstream markets. Looks like Tyra Banks was right about her being the next big thing.

Chanel is one of the new faces of H&M for their fall campaign, and we have to give her kudos for this. H&M is a big brand and its just getting bigger from here. We don’t know one person that doesn’t own something from H&M in their closet.

Jennifer Lopez is Back in the Studio – Speaks on New Single “Louboutins”

Jennifer Lopez is not leaving music alone just yet. The mother of two is set perform and debut her new single “Louboutins” on the American Music Awards this year, and this will be the first official single off her sixth studio album, entitled “Love?“. (Jennifer hasn’t had a solo studio album since 2007.)

Here is what J.Lo had to say about the Tricky Stewart & The Dream penned track.

“This song is actually about when you’ve made the decision—I’m out. It’s not the girl who’s like, ‘I’m gonna take my stuff, and I’m gonna put on my sweatpants, and I’m gonna cry, and my girlfriends are gonna pick me up and we’re gonna go eat ice cream.’ It’s not that girl. This girl is like putting on her hottest dress and her sexiest Louboutin shoes, and leaving your ass.”

“I’ve had to do it. Sometimes you just gotta do it! You gotta put on your Louboutins and be like, ‘This is what you’re missing. Bye bye.’”

J. Lo speaks on the concept of the album below, plus some interesting commentary from Brandy about J. Lo’s song below. ( “Louboutins” was originally written for Brandy.)

Jennifer explained the concept of the album by saying,

“It’s basically about when you get to that point in a bad relationship and you’re like, ‘Damn, I really have to leave. It’s just not good for me’”.

As we mentioned before, the real juice about all of this is that the song was originally given to Brandy before she was dropped from Epic Records, the same label J.Lo is still currently on. Brandy is a twitter head so this is what she had to say about the subject.

“It is true I had a song called ‘Louboutins’ that I loved and still love to pieces, but God never blesses you with another person’s blessing.”

Brandy needs to move on with her career, or the lack of one, but we are excited to see what Jennifer Lopez is bringing this time around. The whole concept of this album and single is pretty lame coming from J.Lo considering she is married with two children, but she damn sure does know how to leave men.

New Video: Melanie Fiona – Bang Bang

Melanie Fiona is back with a follow-up single to her smash hit “It Kills Me” off her debut album, The Bridge. The new single Bang, Bang is a more uptempo blues track for the new soul singer signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation imprint and SRC/Universal Records.

We have been watching this girl since her emergence onto the scene, and just love her swag and her effortless vocals. We predict Melanie will just keep moving up from here. This wasn’t the best single selection in our opinion, but you really do get to see her range.

Rihanna “Rated R” Album Preview (Updated w/ Russian Roulette Video)

With little over a week left before Rihanna drops “Rated R“, we got our hands on a preview of all the songs that will appear on the album. They may be only 30 seconds long, but you really get the feeling of Rihanna’s new musical direction.

We think overall its a solid album coming from someone with Rihanna’s vocal abilities, and she has improved a lot since she hit the scene. (Although some of her best work was on the “A Girl Like Me” album. That project was slept on big time!)

Since the preview video was taken down, we updated it with the official “Russian Roulette” video that just dropped. Hurry up and watch!

We are pleased to see that the album isn’t full of male bashing, suicidal, or anti-Christ songs, despite popular assumption. It’s actually a balance between several genres of music, which includes R&B, Pop, Rock, and Latin on the track “Te Amo“

Rihanna’s new album Rated R is set for release on November 23rd. Be sure you check the premiere of the video for “Russian Roulette” on ABC’s 20/20 on Friday @ 10pm!

New Music: Mariah Carey & Lady Gaga

Mariah Carey and Lady GaGa are back at it once again and set to re-release both of their albums. Lady Gaga is on fire right now, so this release is coming at a perfect time. Mariah’s album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” didn’t do so well, so she must be re-releasing it to bring more attention to the project. (Mariah’s album is dope, by the way.)

Mariah Carey also recorded a single called “100%” which was set to be on the “Precious” soundtrack but was later scrapped. The track was played on Hot 97 during the summer, but was never heard from again. The song has an awesome gospel vibe. Mimi vocals are amazing, you can’t deny that.

Chris Brown on BET’s 106 & Park

Chris Brown appeared on BET’s 106 & Park yesterday to discuss his future and life after Rihanna. We are torn between the two of these artist, that’s why ATF has made the decision to just focus on these two people as musicians. That is their personal lives, and we don’t have the right to judge.

Chris Brown really opened up to Rocsi, who swore she was the Diane Sawyer of BET during this interview. You can tell she isn’t really a journalist, just a media personality, but she tried her best. (The funniest thing Chris Brown said during the interview was, “with great power comes great responsiblity“, did this boy really quote the grandfather from Spider-man? FAIL!)

“I am not my stepfather at the end of the day,”

Like we said we aren’t going to past judgment on the guy. You can tell he is trying to move pass it and so should the rest of the world. He was 19 years old when the incident happened, and we have all did some crazy ish at 19. We are keeping our fingers crossed that this is the last interview Chris does about this subject. Just stick to promoting your album Mr.Brown, Rihanna sure is.
