The net has been on fire regarding D’Angelo’s recent charges, but his publicist just sent out a statement from his manager trying to make sense of the situation:

“We know there is a lot of speculation in regard to the arrest of D’Angelo in New York City this past weekend. We would like his fans and the public at large to know that D’Angelo has pled not guilty — and is contesting the allegations made against him. Also know that, he is in good health and extremely excited about his forthcoming new album.

D’Angelo would like to personally thank all of his fans for the outpouring of concern, and appreciates if all would allow the American justice system to resolve the matter before jumping to any conclusions.”

Ummm…yeah that’s really not saying anything.

Its a shame that with all of the people wondering about D’Angelo and when he’s going to hop back into music, this is what he is getting the most attention for. When will these stars learn?

NY Daily News reports:

Cops are hunting for Naomi Campbell after she assaulted her limo driver in Midtown on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.

Campbell slapped and slugged the 27-year-old driver, then bolted from the black Cadillac Escalade at E. 58th St. and Second Ave. just after 3 p.m.

She was last seen running away from the scene.

“There has been a criminal complaint made out against her. She’s obviously aware of it,” a police source said. “She will either turn herself in or we’ll go out and get her like anybody else.”

SMH! Someone needs to send her back to anger management or fire her from some campaigns like they did Chris Brown. Then maybe she’ll really learn her lesson. This is pretty absurd.

Sources think Lohan will do more damage than good if she appears to these fashion shows. You can’t blame them, because most of Lohan’s press has not been good press.

The source added:

“A lot of designers, and especially Jill’s camp, don’t think she’s worth all the press she’d get their show. But Stuart denies banning Lohan.

Lohan did get invited to G-Star fashion show, but she couldn’t make it because she was going to out of New York.

According to MTV.news, The rapper was taken into custody by police in Ontario over the weekend after allegedly attacking club promoter and hip-hop road manager Chris Hines.

This seems to be the story that led to Hines getting beat up: Hines booked Banks to perform several tracks at Club NV, but arrived late and only played one song before leaving the stage. Hines refused to pay the tardy Banks for the gig, reportedly prompting a fight between the promoter and the rapper, who had been accompanied by three associates.
Hines was admitted to a local hospital and treated for multiple contusions and head trauma. Banks is facing charges of assault, robbery, and forced confinement.
Guess he’ll be the next celeb joining Gucci Manne and Lil Wayne to be in jail. Let’s think twice before we do something stupid, guys

Eye witnesses say:

“She turned to him and was screaming, ‘You’re not going to ruin my night.’ They got up in each other’s faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face.” “She was yelling at him, ‘What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?’ Four of her bodyguards and two of the club’s kept them apart.” Isaacs was kicked out. Blige went to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup, but soon fled, creating an uncomfortable scene for partygoers Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Busta Rhymes.

Of course her reps deny this, but there are several witnesses who have reported the same thing.

Wow, Mary! Such a shame. Domestic violence on anyone’s part is wrong, whether its by a man or a woman. The fact that she also is said to have thrown Chris Brown’s name around during the situation is also out of line. Such a shame.

That is until we saw this video of him punching out a fan.

According to MTV.com, after only less than a month, Kid Cudi’s opening show on Lady Gaga’s Monster’s Ball Tour is over. Yesterday, Cudi announced via a statement that due to time conflicts, he has decided to leave the tour.

The statement read:

“Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments. Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January.”

Well balancing schedule does sound better than kicked off the tour….
