Does Solange Have a New Boo? All Signs Point to “Yes”!

A while back, we reported that we saw Solange and Wale chilling in Central Park together. These two definitely have history together, as they both made a song together caled “F**k the Industry“, and Wale is signed to Solange’s brother in law, Jay-Z’s company, RocNation. We didn’t think anything of it, until…the two of them were spotted together at Wale’s birthday party in DC.

They were also spotted together at the Lebron James “More than a Game” screening after-party here in New York.

Mmmm hmmm.

If that wasn’t enough, Erykah Badu let the cat out of the bag, and let it be known that Solange indeed does have a boo…

Who are you talking about, Erykah?

It also seems as though she’s been spending A LOT of time in DC, and picking up the lingo…

People don’t talk like that in New York or Texas, Solange!

Are Solange and Wale together? No one will know unless they finally come out; however, we just call it like we see it!

Twitter Beef: Fabolous VS. Lil Bow Wow

Can’t we all just get along? Twitter is going nuts right now with this little beef going on between Fabolous and Lil Bow Wow. This is like deja-vu! Wasn’t Fabo just beefing with T-Pain a couple of weeks ago on Twitter (then switched up and apologized when he found out that T-Pain didn’t even HAVE a twitter account SMH).

This beef all started when…yesterday the #1 topic on Twitter was #FabolousTeeth. We don’t know who was the source of starting this topic but opted to stay out of the twitter madness. But here comes Lil Bow Wow, trying to make a name for himself, and starts going in on twitter about Fabo’s teeth. Fab warned Bow Wow to stop before he’d go IN on him on twitter, but Bow Wow continued to talk mess, so as promised, Fab somehow got the number on topic on twitter to be #iheardbowow.

50 Cent Book Signing in Manhattan + Clears Rumors

The line was wrapped around the block as fans stood around the Barnes and Nobles on 5th avenue, anxious to meet 50 cent at the book signing for “The 50th Law“.

50 became a fan of Robert Greene after reading “The Art of Seduction” and “The 48th Law Of Power”. 50 reached out to Greene a couple of years ago to suggest a collaboration and here they are pictured together at the signing and promoting “The 50th Law”. We aren’t even going to lie, this is a book we’d purchase.

In other 50 news, rumors were going around that he was dissing Jay-Z in his new mixtape track “Flight 187.” 50 explained about why he compared Hov to sitcom character Steve Urkel…

It was the glasses. They saw the glasses. I didn’t Photoshop glasses on him. I think Jay is really conscious of his actual moves. He does those things to make a statement in different ways to create clarity that he doesn’t have to be the way people want him to be. He can do what he wants. But [I wrote the song] out of the perspective of me mentioning things I thought were interesting.”

Meh, even if50 would be dissing him hard, Jay wouldn’t even respond.

We ALLL know that Diddy was hittin’ that–things got too emotional, hency Diddy and O’Day having constant beef. I mean, you just can’t sleep with the boss, Aubrey–It all goes down hill from there :-/.

Last night, Ian Jarrell of ATF attended the private trunk show for Aubrey O’day’s new line “Dare To Love“, which is the latest edition to her Heart On My Sleeve fashion line. Aubrey looked stunning last night, for some reason she always looks better in person than on TV. The event was held inside the Owl Lab store in Soho. Aubrey’s shirt stated “My Sex Tape Comes
Out Next Week” We wouldn’t put it pass her AT ALL…We love this girl.

We couldn’t believe that all those people showed up to show Aubrey some love. Jaslene Gonzalez, one of the featured line models, came through looking fab in her jean corset top. But the most surprising guest of them all was entertainment mogul, Russell Simmons, who slid in and slid out like a ghost. Overall the event was pretty cool, everyone was enjoying themselves. Not to mention the shirts were kinda cute.

Hmmm.. Is there love in the air?

Could be! Usher is still going through the ugly divorce with soon to be ex wife, Tameka Foster. (According to Singersroom.com, the divorce is already official and they are days away from making an official announcement).

While Tameka is dealing with lawyers and divorce papers, Usher’s “serenading” women with his smooth voice, as he did to UK’s Jade Ewen. Our friends over at JumpoffTV got a chance to sit with Miss Jade as she explains how Usher nearly had her melting in his hands…

Kelis Wants More Money From Nas

According to TMZ.com Kelis wants more money from Nas. She currently is suppose to get $44,000 month in child support ( damn that is someone’s yearly salary) from Nas, but her lawyers prove she should be able to get more money for child support and spousal support. Here is how they are calculating it:

– Nas pulls in $244,826 a month
– Kelis rakes in a relatively paltry $13,744 a month
– Kelis should get child support totaling $17,225 a month
– Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728
– Nas should pay retro child support totaling $29,522
– Nas should pay retro spousal support totaling $281,571

Kelis is not playing! We’re still trying to figure out the sudden cause of the divorce in the first place. It seems as though it was just yesterday that they were walking red carpets together.

Say it Aint So: Ashanti and Nelly Break Up

We were really rooting for this couple. But after the *surprise* Nas and Kelis break-up, we’ve lost hope for true celeb love. Shoot, we still haven’t gotten over the Russel & Kimora Simmons divorce!

Moving on, The New York Daily News has confirmed that Nelly and Ashanti have just recently officially broken up, despite numerous rumors that they’ve been broken up for over a year.

*Update: Many blogs are reporting that Nelly has been seen a lot with model, Melyssa Ford, and that she is the reason for the breakup; however, confirmed sources say that she and Nelly have a strictly professional relationship and these rumors are grossly untrue. The real “Jessica Rabbit” that has been seen with Nelly is model, Jessika Maximus. Miss. Ford released this statement:

“My relationship with Nelly is strictly professional. As the former spokesmodel for Apple Bottoms, our interaction was amicable but limitied to work. I have no t seen or spoken to Nelly in 2 years so the person they are referring to in the media as “Jessica Rabbit” is not me.

Melyssa Ford Is Single and F***ing Loving It…

Melyssa Ford posted a recent blog on GlobalGrind.com stating that she is single and loving it. She addresses the rumors about her so called “relationships” with a fellow NFLer and Raekwon. Melyssa is just upset that single women have to be looked down upon in society if they are not married or in a relationship. She is proud to be single and able to provide for herself and not depend on someone else for it. Preach on Sister Girl:

“My main gripe is the fact that the average single woman in this business is under constant attack; she may as well have leprosy or some other communicable disease! Everyone stands around, gossiping about who her rumored conquests and bed fellows have been, pointing and shaking their fingers at her as ifshe’s walking around with a scarlet letter on her chest. Judging her based upon rumor and innuendo, rather than celebrating her for not becoming one of the rising statistics of women spending money paying for divorce lawyers, who entered into a union, perhaps fool heartedly because she couldn’t stand the pressure that society places upon us to FIND A MAN AND GET MARRIED! At the same time, their pity for her is so evident you would think that singledom is equivalent to a life sentence, as if every unattached woman is supposed to be hoping against hope that someone will come along and parole her from having to put on the brave face for the masses and act like she’s happy.

Who’s the Daddy, Kourtney?

There’s going to be another addition to the Kardashion family! Kourtney Kardashian confirmed the news with E! recently, saying she first realized it was a baby after suffering morning sickness.

“We were in the Everglades and I kept feeling nauseous and sick,” she said. “I just kept thinking something wasn’t right. … I went to the doctor and he confirmed the news. I was just so shocked.”

The Kardashian family is really happy, and the baby is expected around Christmas time. So we ask… “Who is the father?” Well, that she’s not telling…yet.

Update: As expected, Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend, Scott Disick is the father.

Event Recap: Rocawear’s Diamond Celebration

Last night, we were in the building for Rocawear’s exclusive 10th Anniversary celebration. During the event, attendees that consisted of celebrities, fashion executives, music executives, bloggers, models, retail buyers and NYC socialites got a chance to preview upcoming collections while partaking in the open bar and h’or dourves. However, the party REALLY jumped off when the man of the hour, Jay-Z stepped in the building with Rihanna. Check out more pics of the attendees and more when you read the rest.

Actor, Anthony Anderson was in the building. He seems to make it out to a lot of NYC events.
