Lil’ Kim has been looking better than ever lately. The #1 female in the rap game has been bashed for the past few years about all her plastic surgeries and outrageous outfits, but we think the Queen B has finally pulled it all together. Guess “Dancing With The Stars” has rubbed off on her a lot. This photo shoot is a amazing. You Go Kim!

Lil Kim is currently overseas on a tour and working on a new album with Polow Da Don, Akon, and Timbaland.

Event Recap: Lebron James at Marquee & 2k10 Event

Before stopping by the “More Than a Game” soundtrack after party held at Marquee, ATF attended the screening at School of Visual Arts. To our surprise, a press conference was held after the movie and Lebron James himself made a surprise appearance. The groupies were definitely out, screaming “I love you, Lebron!” as he walked through the crowd to his seat in front of the theater.

More than A Game is a very inspiring and touching movie, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. We see why the it’s called “More Than a Game” because the documentary focuses more on friendship, parent/child relationships, & hardships while growing up—it revolved more around emotions than actual Basketball tournaments. Overall, this is a great movie and we’d recommend everyone to see it!

Not surprisingly, most questions asked by fans were directed to Lebron James, rather than the director and other people from the film. Lebron James says:

Our coach, mentor [and] father figure is the biggest star of the movie. I may draw the people in, I may draw the people out of their cars, out of their houses to get into the movie theater, but Coach Dru is the main star of the whole movie. ‘Cause he set us up for more than just basketball, he set us up for more than a game. Afterwards, we hit up the soundtrack release party hosted by Lebron himself at club Marquee. It was a breeze getting in, unlike many other events held at Marquee. The party was pretty light for the first few hours, but the staff kept the heour d’oerves coming and the open bar was what kept everyone happy.

Finally around midnight the celebs started rolling in and were escorted to the back room where the private party was held until about 1 in the morning. It was entirely too crowded, but everyone appeared to be having a great time. Notable celebs were Mary J. Blige, Donnie Klang, J. Cole, Wale, DJ Clue, Teyana Taylor, Kelis, Esther Dean and Akon.

*Note to club DJs. If you don’t know this by now, if you want to get EVERYONE hype in a New York club, play “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys. That song had everyone singing their hearts out, including Teyana Taylor!

Thursday night, ATF headed on over to Capitale where the 2K Sports Launch Celebration was held. The event was cute and swanky, with open bar all night, and stations throughout the venue set up for guests to be the first to try out the NBA 2k10 video game. Guests included NBA stars like Andre Iguodala, Brook Lopez and Nate Robinson, and entertainers Wale, Cassidy, and Duo Live. Wale played a few games against Robinson, where a big screen was shown for guests to watch. The game was followed by a performance by Wale and Due Live. Good times! We’ve been seeing Wale around a lot lately—he is definitely an artist in demand!

A New Side of Rihanna, Akon & Neyo Speak on New Album

Rihanna seems to be a bit “angrier” on her next album according to Ne-Yo. Akon and Ne-Yo revealed to E! Online how they are helping her out on her new upcoming album and it will be different.

Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one,” said Ne-Yo.

But Akon wants a more pop star, happy Rihanna. He says:

“Rihanna says some things on this album that you’ve never heard her say before. I’m going to lighten her up, I don’t want an angry Rihanna.”

Seems like the two have different ideas for Miss Ri Ri. Her album is definitely one of the most anticipated albums to be released.

Celebs were twittering during Whitney Houston’s album listening party last night at the Jazz Lincoln Center, and according to their tweets, the party was quite *fab*. Martha Stewart, Diane Sawyer, Sway, and Steve Harvey were among the few celebs in attendance.

Celebrity publicist, BJ Coleman, was also in attendance, and this is what he said on twitter:

Power 105 Presents R&B Live

Last night we attended Power 105’s R&B Live @ B.B Kings. The event was pretty cool, I just was not impressed with the crowd and some of the performers. I am a R&B lover to the core, but the show was just too much for me take. It was good to see some familiar Power 105 people, but overall the event wasn’t the best. Check more of the recap and exclusive pictures after the jump..When I tell you this event was ghetto, I mean GHETTO. It was very organized when it came ot the door. The door people were acting like it was summer, how long we had to be outside, so not a good look. When we finally did get in, it wasn’t has bad as I predicted. It was a good amount of people in attendance, most of them were hardcore fans or groupies. I truly just came to see Trey Songz & Bobby V, but once I found out how late they were set to perform, I knew I would be missing those performances.

I was so not impressed with the female talents that they brought on stage, come on Power 105 you know they were wack! Both of the females looked similar and wore almost the same outfit. Then to top it off they were both from overseas, Paris & Dublin to be exact. After seeing a couple acts the ATF crew decided to dip. “I wish I could take a picture of everyone’s faces” says Aura of ATF. People were just so not entertained whatsoever. After we left it supposedly had picked up, probably because the male performers started to hit the stage.

The lovely and talented Keri Hilson had her album release party last night at Pink Elephant, a swanky club in the Chelsea area. We were invited to this event, but once we got there, it was wayyyyy too hectic outside, the door was being ridiculous and the NYPD was completely swarming the place. Not having any patience and with several other event options in the area, we left shortly after we arrived and didn’t get to participate in the festivities. However, it looked like fun was had by all, and there were a lot of beautiful people in the building. Check out some of the notable attendees after the jump.

Cadillac Records – New York Premiere

The premiere for Cadillac Records went down last night here in NYC, and lots of A-listers were in attendance. The star of the lady of the night, Beyonce Knowles, came out in full effect, and showed off her CRAZY 18 karat diamond ring. Wow!

Looks like it was a nice event. I wish someone who send out an alert every time Beyonce comes into town, so we can be prepared! We can’t wait to see the movie.
