Shyne Just Can’t Win…

It seems as though the name “Shyne” was in everyone’s mouths today, as Tuesday, October 6th was the proposed date for the release of the rapper from serving 9 years of his 10 year sentence. However, earlier today, we learned that this so-called release was put on hold, as the rapper is was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Western New York State.

Currently, according to Global Grind, Shyne will be deported by this Friday, and US Immigration & Customs have given his family 24 hours to see Shyne before he is sent back to Belize. (His father is the prime minister of the country). We’ll wait until the official report before we believe that this is definite.

If you remember, Shyne was originally sentenced to 10 years in jail after being involved in a shooting with Diddy at a New York City nightclub.

Diddy Speaks On Shyne Being Released

Diddy spoke to Hot97 over the phone about his happiness for rapper Shyne being released in October. Shyne was an artist of Diddy almost 10 years ago, that got caught up in a shooting dealing with Diddy and J-Lo. Shyne was the one who was convicted. Here is what Diddy had to say:

“It’s a blessing that [Shyne's] coming home,” Diddy said. “I spoke to him like a couple of weeks ago and he sounded like he was in good spirits. I know he can’t wait to get home. I know he is definitely going to heat the whole scene up. He was definitely one of talented young artists that I had the pleasure to work with. I’m quite sure he’s been using his time wisely and has some heat.”

Do you think Diddy really means that? Do you think they will work together once he gets out? or maybe Diddy will hire extra security guards to keep Shyne away. Hmmm

Is It True? Diddy To Switch Labels

Apparently, Diddy will be joining the ranks of artists such as 50 Cent, Eminem and Dr. Dre!

His 5 year contract is up with Warner Music in April 2010, and word has it that Interscope Records is set to be the new home for Bad Boy. Many of us knew that he was supposed to release his new album “Last Train to Paris” in November, but it will now reportedly be released on his new label home in April.

We wonder if there is a particular reason for the label departure, and why he would choose to end the relationship. There definitely seems to be more to the story, and this should be an interesting move if he does do this. If this does happen, what is in store for Bad Boy and all of the artists that are currently on the label? We hope that there is a method to his madness.

Diddy started Bad Boy at Warner Music back in 1993.

Jadakiss’ New York Apt Gets Raided

Jadakiss‘ Yonkers Apartment got raided this week and the police found 5 grams of heroin, 6.5 pounds of marijuana and $40,000 in cash. Jadakiss was not found in the apartment at the time, but two men were arrested. One is getting charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct and the other is charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and second-degree assault, both felonies, and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor.

Damn Jadakiss, let’s hope they don’t draw your name in it to lessen their jail time.

Okay, Okay, Que we get the picture. You are in love with Dawn Richard. Que recently sat down with Sister2Sister Magazine to dish about how he feels about Dawn of Dirty Money. It seems like every other week Que is professing his love to this woman, but Dawn rarely speaks on their relationship. That’s saying a lot right there..Check out what Que had to say:

Former member of Danity Kane Dirty Money’s Dawn Richards, was spotted out and about last night celebrating her birthday. She was seen partying at the G-Shock event where Kanye made a surprise performance, then she headed to the 1 Year Anniversary Party For Cocktails With Jessica at Taj Lounge.

We like Dawn, so we won’t make any comments about her dress..although it is quite interesting…

Bad Boy’s Hen Roc was also in attendance.

Diddy Causes a Scene in Central Park After Q-Tip Concert

Diddy was spotted yesterday dancing on stage at Q-Tip’s Central Park Summerstage concert. When the concert ended, he was seen leaving the park with Dawn Richard & Kaleena (Who are in his new group, Dirty Money), and his “girlfriend”, Cassie.

Watch him as he causes quite the stir, as only Diddy knows how, and plays some of his tracks off of his new album, Last Train to Paris. This man is a hot mess, but he’s so entertaining! (Why does Cassie look like she’s always trying to hide, though?)
