Why Does Everyone Keep Stressing Beyonce About Kids?

It seems as though in every interview now, Beyonce is being asked about when she and Jay-Z are going to buckle down and have kids. Clearly, this woman has no intention of settling down just yet, and why should she if she’s not ready? Blog commenters and reporters are always passing judgment on her for not popping out babies, but isn’t it enough that she’s in a happy relationship with Jay-Z and on the top of the world right now?

In a recent interview she let it be known that being in a relationship was just enough for now:

“It’s not time for that yet. But definitely there will be a time. I want to be a great mother, the kind of mother that I have. I want the same bond that I had with my mom and that would be enough for me.

“The security and love I feel being in a relationship, a marriage, it’s absolutely incredible. Incredible.”

Let the woman live! Its bad enough that there are so many people having kids before they’re ready.

Beyonce + Lady Gaga Video Phone Rmx

For years now we haven’t felt much excitement about a video release. Remember back in the late 90’s when MTV would have “Video World Premiere” and you’d be sitting infront of the tube, on the phone with your best friend, poppin’ some popcorn, and anxiously waiting for the video premiere of your favorite artist?

Well those days don’t really exist anymore, booty shaking and half naked women have taken over the music video scene… BUT.. these past two weeks have given us that feeling back. Lady Gaga’s recent video release of “Bad Romance”, and Melanie Fiona’s video for “Bang Bang” has definitely given us hope that good music AND music videos are back.

The preview clip that we posted earlier had us crazy anxious to see the “Video Phone” video in it’s entirety, and fortunately it was released before the day even ended.

Whew, Bey and Gaga sure to know how to keep us entertained. Check out the vid:

We just came across a teaser for Beyonce and Gaga’s Video Phone video, and don’t think we’re ready for how EPIC this video is going to me. Bey + Gaga! Are you serious?! Nevermind the fact that the clip was shot right in Brooklyn, and the song itself is nothing to play with!

The whole thing is set to drop on Tuesday, November 23rd. (Same day as Rihanna’s album )

New Music: Mariah Carey & Lady Gaga

Mariah Carey and Lady GaGa are back at it once again and set to re-release both of their albums. Lady Gaga is on fire right now, so this release is coming at a perfect time. Mariah’s album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” didn’t do so well, so she must be re-releasing it to bring more attention to the project. (Mariah’s album is dope, by the way.)

Lady Gaga’s leaked track “Alejandro“ proves that this girl can actually sing. Check it out here:

The album “The Fame Monster” will be released November 23rd, the same day as Rihanna’s “Rated R“. Who will dominate the charts?

Mariah Carey also recorded a single called “100%” which was set to be on the “Precious” soundtrack but was later scrapped. The track was played on Hot 97 during the summer, but was never heard from again. The song has an awesome gospel vibe. Mimi vocals are amazing, you can’t deny that.

All we can say is that this is a legendary combo. It’s rare that two future icons get together on one song. Beyonce and Lady Gaga were very smart to link up. It cute that both songs are phone related.

Robin Thicke’s new album, Sex Therapy, is gearing up to be his biggest album yet. He is one of those artist that every man bumps to get their woman in the mood, and also has the ladies going crazy with his soft sometimes erotic voice. He’s even got NYC’s Nicki Minaj on the album (smart move!)

“Meiple (Me I Play)” is a new track off the upcoming album which features one of our favs, Jay-Z. (The French definitely adds a nice touch as well.) We already know Hot 97 is going to play it to death.

Jay-Z is finally opening up about Beyonce, and now he is doing it on songs now:

Beyonce Shuts Down The EMAs!

Our girl Beyonce shut down the MTV European Music Awards last night in Berlin, Germany…Bey took home Best Female Artist, Best Song for “Halo” , and Best Video for “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”. She also had the best performance of the night, she hit the stage to perform “Sweet Dreams” wearing nothing but some sexy red one piece .

*This should hold you over until her highly anticipated yet postponed “Video Phone” video comes out with Lady Gaga.

But the highlight of the night was her acceptance speech when she won Best Video…

“There is only one person I would like to Thank…and that’s Jay for putting a ring on it” – Says Beyonce

Our mouths hit the floor! What is it about Europe that makes celebs so damn comfortable? Or maybe she was throwing a couple drinks back after her performance.

Jay-Z Chats with Gotham Magazine

Jay-Z chopped it up with Gotham Magazine about life, music, and most importantly himself. Jay-Z is a well respected man in the entertain world, and he has opened doors for a lot of people in music. Now he is kinda getting bashed for that lately.

In the interview he also discusses starting a family with Beyonce. Mrs. Carter did say she was taking two years off after this current tour. Does that mean babies are bout to start popping out?

Some feel Jay-Z tends to take credit for a lot of careers he barely was involved in, but you be the judge. Check out some excerpts from his Gotham Magazine interview below.

“I don’t dislike anything about myself,” he says. “I know this sounds a little arrogant but I really accept what God has given me. I’ve got a short temper but I work on controlling it. I can say inappropriate things because I believe them to be true and sometimes that can be hurtful to others. But I think in the long run it is more helpful.”

“Making music is art,” he continues. “It doesn’t change who you are as a person. It doesn’t mean you’re entitled or you’re above the law. You still treat people as human beings. It doesn’t change the laws of the universe.”

“Fame is such a deadly drug that you can’t see the changes because you are so consumed by it. You need a close-knit group of friends and family to make sure you stay grounded.”

Beyonce Takes Over Thanksgiving!

Our girl Beyonce will be premiering her I Am…Yours DVD on ABC on Thanksgiving day. You know your major when your taking over network television during Thanksgiving.

The show will feature behind the scenes footage from her I Am… Tour and it will also show a glimpse inside her world. This woman is just a beast when it comes to running the media.

We know you have heard all the whispers about this procedure that is hitting the entertainment industry like crazy. Butt implants are becoming more popular than breast implants in the urban community. With women like Beyonce and Buffy The Body walking around it’s hard not to feel insecure. But why are women getting this done? Is it done to look better in clothes or get ahead in their careers?

Once upon a time the skinnier you were the more sexier you appeared to be. Now it seems the more thicker you are downstairs the more attention you get. The question also arises: are women doing it for themselves or for male admiration?

It seems like every woman that appears on the cover of a Black Men’s magazine has to have a huge a$$…It was beautiful to see a curvier woman being praised on a magazine cover, but it seems like the only area that needs to be large is the behind…

This whole thing has been hush hush for years. When the model Angel Lola Luv came onto the scene we started to suspect something. She went from average pretty hood chick to pin-up model for 50 Cent. There’s nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery, but it’s an issue when you say you’re all natural. Girl BOO!

Word Around Town: Beyonce and Lady Gaga Shot “Video Phone” Video Over the Weekend

Our boys, over at Stuff Fly People Like, dropped us a tip that Beyonce and Lady Gaga just shot a remix video for Bey’s song “Video Phone” in Brooklyn last Friday. These two are at the top of their game and the charts right now, so a collabo does make sense!

Note: Those boys have a lot of choreographer/dancer friends, so this is coming from a very credible source. Can’t wait to see it!
