According to Vh1, Britney Spears is in New York this week for her concert at Madison Square Garden, and is holding a contest for fans to win two front-row tickets to her show, (Which also includes her opening acts Jordin Sparks and Kristinia DeBarge). Check below the hood for details!

The world has a new solo female artist, but she is a familiar face to the world. Adrienne Bailon formerly of the 3LW & The Cheetah Girl, has just signed to Def Jam Recordings to release a solo album, and L.A. Reid is the driving force behind her project. Adrienne was everyone’s favorite from both groups, but can she really do it on her own. She has released two new buzz singles, Only You feat. Jay-Z and “This Hot”, which was written by Bryan Michael-Cox and produced by The Dream. With all these heavy-hitters behind her, we are hoping she blows. After all, Adrienne actually has killer pipes, and this ain’t some talentless heffa in the booth.

Mario is trying to come back on to the music world radar. Check out the new video is for his new single “Break Up” featuring Gucci Mane & Sean Garrett. Our favorite comedic rap duo, Method Man & Redman, is really trying to make a comeback. They have dropped a new video for their track, Mrs. International featuring Erik Sermon.

Trey Songz has dropped another mixtape to get us by while we wait for his new album, Ready. The new mixtape, Anticipation, is full of those sexy track we love from him. Every track on the album gets you right in the mood to do that nasty, and that’s exactly what he probably wanted. He is definitely giving R.Kelly and The Dream a run for their money, in the sex track department.

Britney Spears‘ Circus is the nation’s top album, according SoundScan. The new album from the pop princess moved 505,000 copies its first week in stores. This week’s number-three is Beyonce’s I Am…Sasha Fierce, followed by Kanye West’s 808s and Heartbreak, which debuted at number-one last week and now sits at number-four. Akon’s Freedom debuts at number-seven with 110,000copies sold. It’s good to see people are still buying albums, however I am just not feeling Britney’s new project. I was in love with her last one, Blackout, though.

Last night in NYC, the Tree Light Ceremony @ Rockefeller Center took place. I am so mad I missed my first Tree Light Ceremony now that I live in NYC..This is an historic event for NYC. A few celebs came through to celebrate the tree lighting. Jamie Foxx, Britney Spears, David Cook, Beyonce, and many more came to show love to NYC. Britney Spears is returning to the VMA’s…sorta. After making headlines with a disastrous performance at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards, Britney will appear alongside this year’s host Russell Brand.

Britney appears to be all together finally, she looks and sounds amazing. She is on the cover of OK! Magazine…

On her sons not going into show business: I’d love them unconditionaly if they wanted to. I’d just want them to have a more normal childhood.

On sister Jamie Lynn Spear’s pregnancy: I was shocked a little bit. She’s alsways been they baby, and now the baby was having a baby. Itwas mind-boggling. I’m sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie. On her new album: I think it is more urban. I’m writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room..This is my best work ever.Is the new-and-improved Britney for real?? Her refreshed, well-rested appearance and normal behavior are such a stark contrast to her recent past crazy days. What’s the missing ingredient here…Sam Lufti.

Britney Spears attended the “Generation Rescue’s Event’ hosted by Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey Saturday night in Los Angeles, California. Brit Brit’s looked surprisingly adorabe in her little black ensemble, she’s been working out and trying to get the old Britney back.
