Zoe Kravitz has been a busy bee in NYC this week! She and Emma Roberts (Julie Robert’s niece) were spotted filming a movie called “Twelve” this weekend in NYC, and last night she rocked out with The Roots during their jam session at Highline Ballroom. Pics of her set after the jump.

Awww well isn’t this cute.

Q-Tip celebrated his birthday at his nightclub home, Santos Party House this past Friday, and brought out some of NYC’s hottest celebs. If you want a crazy party where you can dance and let loose, definitely hit up Santos on Fridays. We’ve been going there since last summer, and its an INSANE party. See who showed up after the jump.

Well look who it is…Mr. Jigga Man himself. I believe that this is the second time that he’s been spotted at Santos.

Jay-Z brought wifey, Beyonce along. She just looks soooo ecstatic to be there lol. Amanda Diva and writer Dream Hampton are pictured as well.

I don’t know exactly what it is you are supposed to be doing on Easter Sunday, but I’ll probably be somewhere praying /, or with family. But for everyone that feels the need to go out on Easter Sunday (shame on you! lol) should definitely hit up BB Kings. Some of NYC’s hottest rappers will be hitting the stage, such as Busta Rhymes, Kid Cudi, Fat Joe, and O-Neal Mcknight (where did he come from?). The event is hosted by Mike Epps so you already know there are gonna be a few jokey-jokes in between performances. Fab Readers, let us know how this event is if you attend.

Power 105 Presents R&B Live

Last night we attended Power 105’s R&B Live @ B.B Kings. The event was pretty cool, I just was not impressed with the crowd and some of the performers. I am a R&B lover to the core, but the show was just too much for me take. It was good to see some familiar Power 105 people, but overall the event wasn’t the best. Check more of the recap and exclusive pictures after the jump..When I tell you this event was ghetto, I mean GHETTO. It was very organized when it came ot the door. The door people were acting like it was summer, how long we had to be outside, so not a good look. When we finally did get in, it wasn’t has bad as I predicted. It was a good amount of people in attendance, most of them were hardcore fans or groupies. I truly just came to see Trey Songz & Bobby V, but once I found out how late they were set to perform, I knew I would be missing those performances.

I was so not impressed with the female talents that they brought on stage, come on Power 105 you know they were wack! Both of the females looked similar and wore almost the same outfit. Then to top it off they were both from overseas, Paris & Dublin to be exact. After seeing a couple acts the ATF crew decided to dip. “I wish I could take a picture of everyone’s faces” says Aura of ATF. People were just so not entertained whatsoever. After we left it supposedly had picked up, probably because the male performers started to hit the stage.

The official remix video for Busta Rhymes “Arab Money” featuring Ron Brownz, Rick Ross, Spliff Star, N.O.R.E, & Red Cafe. Pointing from left to right whenever the chorus hits is almost involuntary. I’d hate to see a repeat of the A-millie situation though, where we offer up the instrumental to any artist who feels like jumping on the Arabian cash bandwagon. Then again, maybe I spoke too soon because at this very minute someone somewhere is probably recording a really dope freestyle. I see you. On to the video!

Events: KING Magazine 50th Issue Celebration

Last night, I attended the KING Magazine 50th Issue Celebration @ a private loft in Soho NYC. The event was mad dope, in my opinion. A lot of good people were in the building to celebrate with KING. Hip-Hop industry taste makers truly took over that loft. KING really pulled out all the stops for this event, It was truly a celebration to remember! The event started out pretty slow. I actually had to wait in line to get in, which I was pissed about until I found out that the line was just for the elevator lol..It felt like a reunion–everyone was in there. I guess everyone is back after all the fashion week stuff. Who ever put that party together did a great job, a lot of major people was in there, which is always a good look. It wasn’t as exclusive as I thought it was going to be, but it was still some interesting people around.

The party was hosted by the fabulous Dawn Ricahrd of Danity Kane. She looked great, and so does her spread in the magazine. Shout out to 2R’s for putting in work! Iwas digging her outfit overall, I am feeling the thrown together look. I hate when people look so done up for these type parties.

The event was sponsored by NUVO! Now I love me some of that stuff, you can never go wrong when Nuvo is there. KING gets a thumbs up from AllThatsFab. And did I mention it was OPEN BAR lol.

The party also had a couple live performances by some of the top artist right now. Busta Rhymes and Ron Browz both hit the stage hard. You already know they performed Arab Money, that for sure got the crowd pumped. Yo rappers and men go hard for KING Magazine. The room was filled with men, it felt like a sausage factory. But if you see some of the spreads in the mag, I can see why.

This was the first KING I have ever seen, in my life. I have always seen the cover, but I never actually looked through it. In the mag this month they look back at all the hottest pics they have had over the years. Now I know the fellas are going crazy. And Miss Christina Milian is on the cover, and that should get a few hormones raging..I know the prison crowd is praising KING right now!

There were tons of random celebs up in there for some reason. NFL plays were also at the event. That truly made the resident wannabe video vixens happy. It was funny seeing the girls take pictures, they just swore they were going to be on the next cover. It gave me a good laugh during the party. Overall the party was pretty dope, it was nice to see some old faces and meet some new ones. I so recommend a KING party, for someone who has never been…

According to the NYPost, the Queen of R&B/HipHop got quite the surprise last night for her birthday last weekend:

“Mary J. Blige got quite the shock on her 38th birthday. The singer’s manager and husband, Kendu Isaacs, invited Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Russell Simmons, Busta Rhymes and embattled Knicks point guard Stephon Marbury to toast Blige at an intimate surprise party at Mr. West Lounge on Saturday night. The 70 guests drank champagne and vodka and ate a cake so large that it had to be carried out by two people.”

Awww isn’t that sweet! What a fabulous way to spend a birthday.

Anyway, Hot 97 put on a holiday concert this past Saturday at Nassau Coliseum, that featured a shirtless T.I., Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Nina Sky, Busta Rhymes, Ron Browz, Ryan Leslie, Jim Jones, and Kid Cudi, as a surprise guest. Unfortunately, all of us were out of town, so we weren’t able to make it, but Whatspoppin.net did send over some great pics. Check them out. (I’m so mad I missed Kid Cudi.)
