Ciara Working On Her 4th Album

Ciara is reportedly going hard in the studio, working with #1 hitmakers, Tricky Stewart and The Dream on her fourth album. This is the same duo that has recently created #1 hits for both Beyonce and Mariah Carey, and word has it that they have recorded over 14 tracks already for this upcoming project.

The album is said to take Ciara back to her “Goodies“ and “1,2 Step“ days, which is basically hat’s just the nice way of saying “when she was actually relevant”. Tricky had this to say about the project:

“She came out to L.A. to work with us. We’re out here making this record ’cause it feels good and the vibe is good, This record obviously is gonna have tempo to it, but I think it’s gonna have even more substance than the last record, she dances and we always want to bring out what she does that other people don’t.”

The album will most likely see the light of day early 2010. If the album sounds anything like Mariah’s latest project, Ciara may have some hits on her hands. The Dream & Tricky are miracle makers lately.

Lloyd on Ciara: “I don’t fk with Hollywood bches”

Lloyd was the last person we expected to call someone out, but he sure did come at Ciara in Hip-Hop Weekly. Lloyd is usually remains low key in the industry, he doesn’t really date other celebs or party it up at events. So this is a big shocker for us You all remember when Ciara was dancing up on Lloyd in his video “Hey Young Girl“. Well check out what Lloyd had to say about his old homegirl..

“I don’t fuck with Hollywood bitches and she’s like one of the chicks that’s just changed along the way with the fame and the money and all of that. I don’t really get down with her anymore on some real shit. The truth hurts, but it will set you free. But I wish her all the best.”

Ciara has changed a lot since her “Princess of Crunk“ days…He was just being honest, but DAMMMNN!

First Look: Ciara in “Mama I Want To Sing”

Ciara is really trying to do everything. The dancer is now starring in the film, Mama I Want To Sing, which was was filmed awhile ago, but it is finally gaining some buzz. It has also been added to the closing night of this years Urban World Film Festival which began yesterday in NYC. The film also stars Hill Harper, Lynn Whitfield, Billy Zane, Patti Labelle, Kim Porter.

The funny part about the trailer is that the little girl playing Ciara, sings 10-times better then she has ever sang, which is pure comedy. Check it out after the jump…

Brandy’s New Hair Cut…Love it or Hate it?

Over the weekend, the fabulous r&b singer, Brandy, revealed her new hair cut over twitter. Back in the days Brandy was known for her braids then she cut that out and went into wearing the long straight weave, which later lead to her creating her own hair weave line called Pro-10 by Brandy. Figures Brandy would follow the trend of cutting the hair short like Rihanna, Dawn Richards and Ciara. ATF would like to ask you what do you think? Do you love it or hate it?

VH1 Divas Returns in September!

Wow this is music to our ears, Vh1’s Divas is back! If you don’t remember Divas, it’s when all the women of the past, present, and future salute one another. This was always a must-see, you never knew what women were gonna take the stage. It’s such a dope sight to strong talented females being honored for their achievements. But the question is who will take the stage this year? We thought they were done because they ran out of divas. VH1 can’t even answer the question, so they are asking the fan to decide. Read what VH1 had to say after the jump…

“We would love for listeners to weigh in on who would make a great Divas participant. What does the term “diva” mean to you in 2009? Someone heroic? Someone inspiring? Hit the comments field and lets us know. Its Friday and we would like to give you some of our favorite videos and new music that debuted this week. Day26, Ciara, and Ace Hood have all released videos, and artists Mekka Don (Fab Man) and NYC based group, True 2 Life have released singles that has the internet buzzing. It’s good to see Day26 getting the push they need. The boys have released a video for their latest single “Truth Is A Lie“. This is one of their best videos, its kind of low budget, but it’s not in front of green screen. They sound AMAZING on this track. They are becoming a very solid R&B group, we hope the take home the Best Group award @ the BET Awards.

Ace Hood is back with another inspirational street anthem, but this time he brought Jazmine Sullivan & Rick Ross along with him. When we say Jazmine looks stunning in this video that’s an understatement. The girl must have been hitting the gym hard to get ready for this video. The single is called “Champion“, and its off his latest album Ruthless…Ace Hood has come a long way since Cash Flow

Ciara has dropped another video for yet another single featuring Missy Elliot. Ciara, sweetie, you could have stepped it up a little more though. This time around she is hoping her track Work will help her sell some albums. The song is pretty dope, its very club worthy. We could have seen this on her Goodies album. The video reminds us a lot of Beyonce’s Diva. Its starting to look like Ciara is swagger jacking on purpose. She can dance her a$* off though. She sure doesn’t lack in that department.

True 2 Life Music recently jumped on Drake’s “Uptown” off his mixtape “So Far Gone”. True 2 Life states, “The original track featuring Lil Wayne and Bun B was one of our favorites from the tape, and we thought it would only be right to bless it with our own style/flare. So we did.”

Former Fab Man, Mekka Don, has definitely been making moves since we last spoke to him. He released a single this week with Bizzy Bone called, “IV The Love”:

Is it us or does Rap-up Magazine remind you of Complex for some odd reason. Ciara and Rick Ross are both cover models for the latest issue of Rap-Up. They didn’t pose together, you know 50 Cent wasn’t having that. Ciara looks stunning on her side of the mag: the hair, skin, & body are all flawless. We can’t say the same thing for her latest video for her single “Work”. Fab Female Celebs Speak on Chris Brown’s Plea Deal

Meagan Fox, Ciara and Aubrey O’Day give their thoughts on the Chris Brown plea deal.

Interviewer: “Do you think the fans would be less likely to buy a Chris Brown record?”

Ciara: “I don’t know. Ask a fan!”

Good job, Ciara. Well played! It would be great if everyone can just put this whole situation behind them and stop commenting on things that they know nothing about.
