We are big girl power supporters, and don’t know why it seems like nowadays girls can’t help out other girls. Fab chicks have to stick together! Electrik Red is a hot, sassy, and dope girl-group. Since Danity Kane fell apart we need a new fierce girl group that will keep us on the dance floor. HoneyMag.com recently worked with the four fab chicas and came up with this amazing photo shoot. So this question we decided to bring to you readers…Why can’t Electrik Red sell albums? They can dance, they have sex appeal, and can hold a note. The Dream is their number one fan/mentor. Their album How To Be A Lady Vol. 1 is actually serious dope. Why haven’t they taken over? Answer that question for us, and check more pics under the fab hood…

The Dream is back with a new single, after the lack luster success of his single “My Love” featuring Mariah Carey. The new single off his Love vs Money album is “Walking On The Moon” featuring Kanye West. This was a great choice for The Dream, one of the hottest songs off the album might we add. The video is cute, but it was very predictable. We hope this is a hit for The Dream, because with all this Christina Milian junk, no one is really focusing on his music. Christina Milian and The Dream were spotted out and about in New York last night at a dinner celebrating The Dream’s group, Electrik Red. We really want to like these two, but something always seems off about them. *Shrugs* You be the judge.

Last Night in NYC – Drake, Electrik Red, and More

Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg caught up with Drake and Kanye West at the “Who’s Next” concert series at SOBs last night. Check out the video interview below (via NahRight):

Yes, Kanye, among other notable people such as music executive Lyor Cohen, MC Lyte, Talib Kweli and Bun B were in the building to see Drake perform at his SOLD OUT show at SOBs. This is HUGE for such a new artist, who hasn’t even released an album yet. Check out event pics from SOBs, plus Electrik Red’s album release party at Cain after the jump.

Bun B came out to perform with Drake during his song “Uptown”.

Miss Info was also in the building.

Looks like good times! Unfortunately we were out of town, so we missed this much talked about event. For a full recap and more video, head over to Straight Outta NYC.

Later on in the evening, Electrik Red also had their album release party at Cain Luxe Nightclub in Chelsea. Their album dropped yesterday, and we hear its actually pretty good.

Check them out as they promote their album in the airport, making their own signs and whatnot.

The girls are cute, and seem to have a lot of spunk. Best of luck to them!
