This just has hot mess written all over it. Chilli of TLC is reported looking for a new man, and she is taking it to VH1. What ever happen to her NFL boo, Larry Johnson? (Guess he ditched her like Usher.) She has enlisted the help of Brooklyn relationship expert Tionna Smalls to help her find a man. And it doesn’t appear that this is a rumor at all. We feel it is impossible to find love through reality TV.

Chilli from R&B supergroup TLC, has decided to take the reins of her lackluster romantic situation and launch an all out search for the love of her life in the yet-to-be-titled Chilli Project. Despite huge success as a recording artist and a mother, Chilli has grown tired of striking out on the romantic front, so she has enlisted the help of Brooklyn relationship expert Tionna Smalls.

Not one to let people take the easy way out, Tionna has promised to give Chilli the challenging emotional workout she needs in order to get over the hurdles that have kept her from having the long-term serious relationship she craves.

The series has been picked up for eight half-hour episodes and is set to premiere in 2010. (The Chilli Project is executive produced by Fremantle Media North America. Larry Barron, Kevin Williams, Bill Diggins and Chilli are executive producers. Executive producers for VH1 are Jim Ackerman, Dave Hamilton and Jeff Olde.)

VH1 is really trying to step their game up in the reality show department. Jessica Simpson’s new reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’ , Fantasia Barrino’s show ‘Fantasia’, and Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton of Salt n Pepa will all have reality shows on VH1 this coming fall.

Vh1, BET and Oxygen are already making it rain on viewers across the nation. The addictions will only get worse when these ladies hit the networks. Keisha Knight Pulliam and her live-in boyfriend Atlanta businessman Kaseem Penn inked a deal with Oxygen to star in ‘Keisha and Kaseem’, a show designed to give audience a taste of what it’s like to be young, rich and co-habitating. The show premieres this fall. Who else can you expect to see on the reality circuit? Pop the hood. 

BET’s Monica: Standing Up will focus on the singer’s attempt to make a comeback. Premiere: Mid-September

Fantasia Barrino is teaming up with Vh1 for an unscripted series about her life as a recording artist and a young single mother. Hopefully, this wont be an extended version of that brutally boring Lifetime movie. The show premieres sometimes next year.
