Toya Carter Opens Up About Lil’ Wayne’s Other Baby Mamas and More

Toya Carter, aka Lil’ Wayne’s ex wife, recently sat down with Bossip to discuss relationships, Tiny & Toya, baby mamas and much much more. Many seem to have misconceptions about Toya, but we like her because she actually has her ish together and is working to make a name for herself outside of Lil’ Wayne. This definitely makes her a fab chick!

(Toya is currently dating NBA’s James Hardy and taping the new season of Tiny & Toya. )

Dwayne has not always had “Babymamas” this is something new for me …but we are making a conscious effort to change the stereotype of babymamas. We get a long Great! We don’t have any reason not to. It’s about the kids at this point and I love all of them:)

Lil Wayne’s Visit to NY for Court + “The Carter Doc”

Weezy was spotted in NY yesterday headed to court for a hearing over gun possession charges. Prosecutors claim that Wayne’s DNA is on the gun that was found on his tour bus back in 2007. However, Wayne’s lawyers say that the type of testing is problematic and that the weapon is not his.

In other Lil Wayne news, the first clip of Lil Wayne’s upcoming documentary “The Carter Doc” was leaked on the internet this morning. Wayne smoking this spliff while answering questions is so typical of this guy. Continue reading to see the clip…

Drake has put an all-star line up together for his song “Forever”. Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil Wayne all blessed the track for the soundtrack to Lebron James documentary “More Than Game“. The video was shot down in Miami and directed by Hype Williams (of course)…

Melanie Fiona dropped her video for her hot new single “It Kills Me” on the net, and also debuted it on 106 and Park last night. The slow ballad is HOT, and the video features sexy Latin actor, Adam Rodriguez, from CSI: Miami and Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Melanie’s album “The Bridge” has a new release date of November 3rd, 2009.

The lovely Amerie is back with a new video for her single, “Heard Em All”. She is dancing, looking great, and giving us a bit of drama in the clip. Amerie’s album also drops on November 3rd, and it looks like she and Melanie Fiona will be battling for that top spot.

Lastly, Birdman dropped a video last night for his song “Money to Blow”, featuring Drake and Lil’ Wayne. The vid definitely could of been better, but check it out for yourselves.

BET Hip Hop Award Nominations

After all the hype about the VMAs, BET is back with another one of their award specials. The BET Hip Hop Awards celebrates all things Hip-Hop. They even have an award for Best Hip-Hop Blog. Kanye West is ahead of the pack leading with nine nominations include MVP of the Year, Best Live Performer and Lyricist of the Year.

Right behind Ye’ is Lil Wayne and Jay-Z with seven nods each. Drake is nominated for a few awards, which we are pretty hype about. The BET Hip Hop Awards will be hosted by Mike Epps and are slated to air October 27 at 8pm.

Does this look awkward or what? Over the Labor Day weekend Toya Carter & Nivea were spotted all hugged up at a performance showcase for the OMG Girlz (Tiny’s girl group). This may come off as them being mature about the situation at hand. In our eyes this is just some hot ghetto mess.. Lil’ Wayne’s baby mamas hanging out watching his first daughter, Reginae, perform. Fabulous Friday Music Review: Sammie, Jay-Z, Drake, Mary J. Blige

Its Friday and we would like to give you some of our favorite videos and new music that hit the internet this week. From Drake to Mary J. Blige…This week gave a variety of music, the music game is really turning around.

Drake is coming with FIRE and he’s bringing out some all-stars to back him up. Drake’s up and coming album is said to save Hip-Hop, and we are guessing rappers are agreeing with that statement. Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil’ Wayne have all jumped on one track to show love to the rising star of the rap game. Eminem’s tired self could have sat down. We would have preferred Jigga or other up n comer like Wale or Kid Cudi . Check out the track “Forever” off Drake’s “Thank Me Later” album below:

Beyonce’s team has leaked another track that was left off the I Am… Sasha Fierce album. Slow Love is a ballad that should have been placed on the Beyonce side of the album. It would have spiced up the album a little more. We can’t wait to hear another album from the diva, but she did state that she would be taking a two year break after this tour..

Sammie is back and he has dropped a new video from his mixtape single “Sky’s The Limit“. ATF recently chatted it up with Sammie to discuss his new mixtape “Swag n B Volume 1″ and he also told us why he went the mixtape route. You can check out that exclusive interview here…

Mary J. Blige is just never gonna take a break from music. Mary has released a video for single “Stronger“. The video is pretty lame and the whole Lebron James throwback footage is kind of distracting. The video was made to go along with Lebron’s new documentary about his child-hood basketball team. Overall the video and song is wack, but we will let you draw your own conclusion.

September 11th is right around the corner, and folks are counting down to the return of Jay-Z. It’s not like that dude really left. But it has been a long time since his “The Blue Print” days. The latest leaked track off “The Blue Print 3″ is “Off That” which features earlier mentioned artist Drake. We are really digging this track, it’s perfect for a club setting. Jay-Z and Drake have a hit on their hands with this one.

Bow Wow has just officially signed to Cash Money Millionaires. This is probably the only offer he had on the table. Omarion is also signed to Young Money, next we’re going to hear that B2k is getting back together and another Scream Tour is around the corner..

After his last album flopped we don’t really see Bow Wow doing anything musically. He is currently wrapping up a film with Ice Cube and we’re guessing that film is the best alley for him.

ATF Friday Music Review – Beyonce, Chris Brown, & More

Its Friday and we would like to give you some of our favorite videos and new music that hit the internet this week. From Chris Brown to Beyonce… it’s definitely been all about R&B.

Beyonce is just keeping our iPods filled with song after song, and “Poison” is the latest leaked track from a previous studio session. The track is actually dope but we expect nothing less from Bey. We doubt this is a single, but are are still fans of the song…

Chris Brown is starting to make a comeback, and we actually see it happening now. After all the MJ stuff in the news, many people could care less about “RihBrown Gate“. We just want to see these two kids move on with their lives. Chris has released a new buzz single, I Can’t Call It, and we honestly can’t call it if we like it or not. It’s cute and catchy but we need him to speak on the drama he has dealt with this year. He needs to come back on some “Usher Confessions” type ish..

Ginuwine is really pushing out singles and we are loving it. “Trouble” is the latest single and video off Ginuwine’s A Man Thoughts album. The video is starring Cocktail of VH1’s For the Love of Ray J, which is the most random thing ever. The video is cute and the track features Bun B. We are fans of Ginuwine over here at ATF, so he really can’t do wrong in our eyes, except for his casting choices…

Usher is putting the finishing touches on his album, Monster, and he has leaked a new track off that upcoming album. “Cruisin” really seems like a track that was left off his last album. We doubt it will be placed on the album because it mentions him being married at the end, and we know that is false. The track was produced by the talented Dre & Vidal, who don’t get as much respect as they deserve. We are getting excited about the return of Usher, but is everyone else?

Lastly, LL Cool J is STILL putting out music and released a Michael Jackson tribute called “Billie Jean Dream”. We’ll put it this way, only LL can get away with something like this. In the song he says “I do what I want”, and he definitely sure does.

The “Who Cares?” Award Goes To – Toya Carter

Everyone has been talking about the whole Drake & Lil’ Wayne performance at the wack 2009 BET Awards. The performance was horrible, but bringing the children on stage just made it worst. It later came out that the girls were Lil’ Wayne daughter, Reginae, and her friends, who are all members of Tiny’s girl group OMG. Well Toya (Lil’ Wayne 1st baby mama) has released a statement about the whole mess…You can check out what she had to say after the jump, and see why she gets the Who Cares Awards…

I Antonia ” Toya” Carter have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single “Every Girl”. I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed. Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.

After denying rumors of her pregnancy for the past few months, the Fabulous Miss Lauren London has finally stepped out and showed her baby bump to the public. Here she is spotted at a party with a nice round belly. She said on twitter:

“I Know I Denied It A Lot.. But Now Im Comfortable To Share My Bundle Of Joy To Be With You Guys. Yes Its True.. Im Going To Be A Mommy! =) “

There’s no confirmation as to who the baby daddy is, but we all have a feeling it may be Lil Wayne.
