A New Side of Rihanna, Akon & Neyo Speak on New Album

Rihanna seems to be a bit “angrier” on her next album according to Ne-Yo. Akon and Ne-Yo revealed to E! Online how they are helping her out on her new upcoming album and it will be different.

Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one,” said Ne-Yo.

But Akon wants a more pop star, happy Rihanna. He says:

“Rihanna says some things on this album that you’ve never heard her say before. I’m going to lighten her up, I don’t want an angry Rihanna.”

Seems like the two have different ideas for Miss Ri Ri. Her album is definitely one of the most anticipated albums to be released.

Ne-Yo “Battles” In The Movies

Ne-Yo is about to hit the big screen once again! It has been confirmed that he will be starring in a sci-fi war film called “Battle: Los Angeles”. He will join the cast that includes Jadin Gould, Bryce Cass, Joey King , Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pena. The movie is about a marine platoon that faces off against an alien invasion in Los Angeles.

Ne-Yo has already starred in “Stomp The Yard” and “Save the Last Dance 2“, which were both dance flicks, so let’s see how he does in a different type of genre.

Jim Jones pleaded not guilty to assaulting a 17-year-old boy during a concert while visiting Florida in March.
The rapper is accused by Damion Johns of assaulting him during an ‘MTV Spring Break’ performance in which Johns alleges the rapper told him to move out of the way and then assaulted him.

Jim Jones has a separate court date, June 4th, in New York in relation to a separate assault charge in which he allegedly got into a brawl with NeYo’s manager Jayvon Smith at a Louis Vuitton.

No wonder everytime we get invited to a Jim Jones party they ask that we bring our ATF Bullet Proof Vest.

Jim Jones Pleads Not Guilty

Rapper Jim Jones has pleaded not guilty to beating up a friend of Neyo’s at an upscale New York City store. Jones was arraigned Wednesday in Manhattan Criminal Court. With his arm around his lawyer, Jones downplayed the incident, saying, “It’s what you call an expensive inconvenience.” Jones is charged with assault. He allegedly beat Jayvon Smith on Dec. 22 outside the Louis Vuitton store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Jones was freed without bail. He is due back in court on March 24. SOURCE

Everyone usually has a New Years Resolution–changes they want to make for the New Year to start fresh and have a promising year.. hopefully better than the last. Well these two, Jim Jones & Neyo, definitely know how to start the New Year out right ::cough:::…

Apparently, Jim Jones appeared at the 18th precinct this morning in order to turn himself in for an altercation between the “Byrd Gang” and Ty Ty Smith’s (Jay Z’s best bud) brother which occurred on Christmas Eve. What really happened that night is questionable, and Jim Jones refused to answer any questions about it:

As for NeYo, he was a no-show for at one of Seattle’s largest New Years Eve anticipated party which was supposed to be held at Meydenbauer Center. Party goers spent from $75-$1,200 for tickets and exclusive VIP passes, so you know they were extremely pissed when NeYo called from Nigeria 30 minutes before midnight. Damn… he could have at least told them a few hourse in advance! So there was no show, and no refunds. “BOOO” to Ne-Yo for that one, I bet he’ll never get invited to Seattle again.

Cadillac Records – New York Premiere

The premiere for Cadillac Records went down last night here in NYC, and lots of A-listers were in attendance. The star of the lady of the night, Beyonce Knowles, came out in full effect, and showed off her CRAZY 18 karat diamond ring. Wow!

Remember him from Stomp the Yard? (Love him) Sloan from Entourage was there. Sorry, I like her character, but her real name slips my mind at the moment Kelly Ripa also showed up to the party.

Looks like it was a nice event. I wish someone who send out an alert every time Beyonce comes into town, so we can be prepared! We can’t wait to see the movie.

Neyo Arrested for Reckless Driving

Why does Neyo look like a 45 year old man in this picture? In addition to everyone finding out that his real name is Shaffer Smith, this does not look good for his image.

Anyway, he was stopped by the police in Georgia for driving over 100 mph without a valid drivers’ license. Yeah, smart move, buddy.
