Rihanna is a media beast! We know everyone was having a hard time viewing Rihanna’s Nokia Concert over in London. Supposedly she didn’t do that bad of a job, and she looked good we must say.

The concert had special appearances from Jay-Z & Young Jeezy. The pop star is in heavy promo mode for this album, Rated R, which has already been leaked. We have been hearing mixed reviews, but we love it!

Rihanna is really coming into her own as artist, you really can’t compare her to anyone. She may not be a vocal acrobat, but she does have her own unique sound. Some of her best work on the album are with Ne-Yo & Justin Timberlake, and they bring something out of her that most writers and producers can’t.

Rihanna “Rated R” Album Preview (Updated w/ Russian Roulette Video)

With little over a week left before Rihanna drops “Rated R“, we got our hands on a preview of all the songs that will appear on the album. They may be only 30 seconds long, but you really get the feeling of Rihanna’s new musical direction.

We think overall its a solid album coming from someone with Rihanna’s vocal abilities, and she has improved a lot since she hit the scene. (Although some of her best work was on the “A Girl Like Me” album. That project was slept on big time!)

Since the preview video was taken down, we updated it with the official “Russian Roulette” video that just dropped. Hurry up and watch!

We are pleased to see that the album isn’t full of male bashing, suicidal, or anti-Christ songs, despite popular assumption. It’s actually a balance between several genres of music, which includes R&B, Pop, Rock, and Latin on the track “Te Amo“

Rihanna’s new album Rated R is set for release on November 23rd. Be sure you check the premiere of the video for “Russian Roulette” on ABC’s 20/20 on Friday @ 10pm!

New Videos: LeToya Luckett + Dirty Money + Rihanna

Two new videos dropped today on the internet and a lil buzz video from Rihanna. First, LeToya Luckett dropped her highly anticipated video for her third single “Regret” of her album Lady Love.

This is probably one of the best songs off her album and we are so happy to see her still doing her thing after getting dropped from Capital Records. You better work it out mamas! The video co-stars Ludacris, and it’s good to see him back too.

Dirty Money is back with another video, this time they actually came hard. “Love Come Down” is the second single off their album “Last Train To Paris“. If you don’t know Dirty Money consist of Diddy, Dawn Richard of Danity Kane, and songwriter Kaleena.

Since the switch to Interscope Records the group has lost all the their hype. This video is dope, that “Angels” crap they put out was a FAIL…

Rihanna is promoting hard for her new album “Rated R“. She has been over every blog for the past month non-stop, and we have to say we can’t get enough of the girl. After seeing this video clip of her new video for “Russian Roulette” we really feel the album should have been called “Bad Girl Gone Crazy“…Mental Ward though?

Rihanna Goes Hard….Yeah Yeah Yeah!

Rihanna is giving us pure sex on the cover of her single “Hard“, which features Young Jeezy. This is not the same little girl from “Pon De Replay” anymore, and she is definitely shedding her innocent/sweet image one album at a time. The next thing we know Rihanna, could be having sex on the next album cover.

That aside, we must say the cover is dope! This should have been the album cover, especially since she already has a parental advisory sticker on the album.

Below is footage of Rihanna performing “Hard” at a Jay-Z concert @ UCLA. Her vocals are so rough and strong during this performance.

We are seeing an overload of Rihanna already in the past couple weeks. This woman has been on everything you can think of. Her publicist is a beast, because we went from not hearing from Rihanna in 8 months to wanting her being bombarded with Rihanna News.

The reigning Pop Princess made a stop at MTV to discuss everything from her upcoming album to the Chris Brown saga. Are we the only ones who would just like to move pass this whole domestic violence thing? Rihanna first appearance was on “Its One with Alexa Chung” (man do we dislike Alexa Chung). RiRi appeared to be in very good spirits throughout the entire interview. This has to be one of her best interviews to date. 106 & Park needs to take some notes.

We are still trying to get used to this whole blond hair thing. We are fans of the jet black short hair cut, but she does have to switch it up from time to time. We are wondering why she received such a big honor and she hasn’t really done much this year.

We know you all remember those rumors that Rihanna & Drake were getting it poppin earlier this year. Well Drake is showing his girl Rihanna some support by talking about her upcoming album, Rated R, to Rap-Up.
We still think these two would make a very cute couple. They give off that Jay-Z & Beyonce vibe…
Here is what Drizzy Drake had to say about Rihanna’s new material:

“Rihanna has a great album, she’s got great records that she’s using, she’s got great records that she’s not even using that she has for a later date. I’m excited for her. She deserves everything that she gets.”

Drake also speaks on the Russian Roulette single..

“It’s a cool little record. I don’t know if personally that’s the route I would’ve gone for a single choice, I can only say that because I’ve been around and heard the music that she’s coming with other than that record.”
“We all make personal choices. It’s like the same way I shot a certain type of video for ‘Best I Ever Had.’ Maybe that’s where she’s at emotionally right now. I think if I heard it in the mix with the other ones, I would probably find more appreciation for it as opposed to it being the only thing that people are hearing from her right now after so long.”

“We did do some great work together and hopefully it’ll find it’s place on some project one day. The record we have is great. It’s a special record, so for it not to make it, I know something had to click. It’s all good. I think the project’s gonna be great no matter what. There’s been so much media attention swirling around her, that in order for her to get back to the music, she couldn’t have any ties to any of the stuff that’s been going on. I think she just wants to start fresh.”

Rihanna Finally Opens Up About the Details of “That Night”

Rihanna opened up and shed details about what happen in the car on February 7th with Chris Brown. You can tell she is fighting back tears at some points of this interview and you can’t help but look at Rihanna totally different. It really does suck that she had to go through this at only 20 years old.

“He had no soul in his eyes, he was just blank. He was clearly blacked out.” – Says Rihanna

Our hearts go out to BOTH of them. This is not something easy to deal with, especially in the public eye.

“Just when you think somebody was perfect and that it can’t happen to you, it does, I’ve definitely emerged stronger after the year I’ve had. Going through a rough experience like that makes you tougher and to get through it takes a lot of guts. I’m naturally a survivor but it’s been hard to say the least. I just tried to live my life but it was hard. I was in the spotlight but for all the wrong reasons. Whereas once it was about my music, now all the attention was focused on what happened to me. It was what I call a big interruption. But then with any big life experience, it makes you more resilient.”

This may all be a publicity stunt for album sales, but it’s good to see Rihanna speaking on the whole Chris Brown situation. Rihanna sat down with ABC News for a heart-wrenching interview that will truly bring a tear to your eye.

“I didn’t want people to think that that’s the kind of person — I fell in love with that person, that’s embarrassing. That’s embarrassing that that’s the type of person that I fell in love with. So far in love. So unconditional that I went back.”

“When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result into some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I could not be held responsible for telling them go back. Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say that their boyfriend won’t?…That was a wake up call for me.”

“Don’t react off of love. F’ love.”

All we can say is WOW! Her words are so strong and meaningful. No matter how people may feel about Rihanna as an artist, you got to feel her pain. No one deserves to go through that, especially with someone you love.

Rihanna Opens Up About Domestic Violence + “The Wait Is Ova” for Her New Video

Rihanna has been EVERYWHERE lately, but of course this is no surprise. She finally opened up about domestic violence and relationship with Chris Brown in the new Glamour Magazine, in which she was highlighted as their 2009 “Woman of the Year.”

Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.

This is definitely long overdue, and there was no way that she could have avoided speaking on the subject any longer.

Spotted: Rihanna & Coco at M2

Rihanna was spotted this past Halloween dressed as a “sexy tiger” at M2 Nightclub as she posed with Ice-T’s wife/booty model, Coco. Both of the girls were their for Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey’s Halloween Party.

According to Necole Bitchie, she will finally break her silence about “Chrihanna-gate” by appearing on Good Morning America Thursday morning at 7am followed by a 20/20 interview on Friday at 10pm est.

This broken silence comes right in time for her album to drop, of course. Check out the promo below:

Chris Brown Sits Down with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez

Chris Brown hit up Hot 97 for his first interview post-Rihanna Scandal. He was really open with Angie Martinez about life after all that drama. We are happy to see him pulling his life back together, his three new singles are pretty dope.

“Crawl” is probably are favorite thus far. Cassie is reportedly appeared as the lead female in the video. Chris was also in town shoot a magazine cover. The rumor is he was in Williamsburg, BK shooting the cover of VIBE Magazine.

On whether he was injured in the car that night

Honestly I would like to just get past it. Only me and shorty knows what went down in the car. I would like to leave it between us. I’m not saying nothing on her behalf or my behalf but I’d like to leave it at that.

On how he will move on & date other women

Dating… I’m taking my time right now. I’m never gonna stop loving women. I’m definitely taking my time right now because I don’t want to rush into anything serious and make a mistake. And at the end of the day I still have feelings for Shorty. I’m Not saying that I’m trying to get back with her but I gotta get over the hump.

I’m very tight. I don’t diss Oprah because I respect her as a woman and what she does for women all over the world. On still caring for Rihanna

I even twitter about certain things and people look at it like “oh he’s crying”. I’m human. It’s not going to be easy for me. It’s not going to be easy to have a friend or someone that I care for, to let go and let them leave out of my life. And then have the media go from one extreme to the next and make the relationship pull apart even more by what people are saying when they don’t know our situation
