Does Solange Have a New Boo? All Signs Point to “Yes”!

A while back, we reported that we saw Solange and Wale chilling in Central Park together. These two definitely have history together, as they both made a song together caled “F**k the Industry“, and Wale is signed to Solange’s brother in law, Jay-Z’s company, RocNation. We didn’t think anything of it, until…the two of them were spotted together at Wale’s birthday party in DC.

They were also spotted together at the Lebron James “More than a Game” screening after-party here in New York.

Mmmm hmmm.

If that wasn’t enough, Erykah Badu let the cat out of the bag, and let it be known that Solange indeed does have a boo…

Who are you talking about, Erykah?

It also seems as though she’s been spending A LOT of time in DC, and picking up the lingo…

People don’t talk like that in New York or Texas, Solange!

Are Solange and Wale together? No one will know unless they finally come out; however, we just call it like we see it!

These Two Would Make a Good Couple…

Solange and DC Rapper, Wale, were seen yesterday chillaxing in Central Park. We’re not going to cry couple just yet, but they do seem like a good fit. They are always chatting with each other on Twitter and seem to have a lot in common from the outside looking in (outspoken personalities, eclectic tastes in music, etc). Let’s hear a collective “Awwwwwwww”…

Oh No, Beyonce Didn’t!

Beyonce has done it again…She has been caught jacking songs once again. This time from Chrisette Michelle & Rico Love..The track “Ego” was originally written for Chrisette Michele, which is a shock to us! We can’tsee her pulling off that record. When Chrisette recieved the track it was never mentioned that Beyonce was one of the writers..But on the album credits Elvis Williams, Beyonce Knowles and Harold Lilly are all named for the writing and producing..

Rico Love and Beyonce worked together on a couple of tracks in the“I Am…Sasha Fierce” album. Michelle Williams is very close friend of Rico Love, he also helped her with most of her album, Unexpected. It’s being reported that Rico had this to say about working on I Am…Sasha Fierce..

“I did ‘Radio’ and ‘Scared Of Lonely,’ but I co-wrote ‘Scared Of Lonely’ with Solange, Lashawn Daniels, and Crystile.”

He sure did not mention Beyonce on that little line-up. Beyonce is credited as one of the writers on “Scared of Lonely” You can’t take away the fact that Beyonce is talented, but people aren’t going to hate her if she doesn’t write her own songs. It’s really not a big deal anymore, but it’s so wrong when you take credit for someone else’s hard work. Shame on you Mrs.Carter!

Wow this is music to our ears, Vh1’s Divas is back! If you don’t remember Divas, it’s when all the women of the past, present, and future salute one another. This was always a must-see, you never knew what women were gonna take the stage. It’s such a dope sight to strong talented females being honored for their achievements. But the question is who will take the stage this year? We thought they were done because they ran out of divas. VH1 can’t even answer the question, so they are asking the fan to decide. Read what VH1 had to say after the jump…

Solange to Open for Michael Jackson Tour!

Browsing through my email this morning, one subject really caught my eye. Solange to open for the Michael Jackson World Tour(?). Now I’m a huge fan of Solange, and it blows my mind when I talk about her and people look at me like, “Who?” Solange’s album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams, was in fact one of my favorite albums of 2008. Unfortunately, not too many people agree.

So I’m wondering if this is such a good idea for her to open up for the legendary Michael Jackson. It’s definitely a plus for Solange because she will gain more recognition. People will probably say.. “Solange? Oh yeah that rings a bell.. I think that’s the girl that opened for MJ!” or, maybe people will really enjoy her performance and go out and buy her album. Whatever it is, that Matthew Knowles definitely knows what the hell he’s doing.

Solange was spotted in New York earlier today promoting safe sex along with MTV. MTV all of the celebrities involved should definitely be recognized for all of their efforts regarding spreading the message of practicing safe sex and getting yourself tested. ATF Sunday Throwback: Destiny’s Child “No, No, No”

From Kelly and Solange getting dropped by their labels, to Beyonce touring all over the country, to a Destiny’s Child reunion, this whole camp has been in the news a lot this week. We’re also glad to see that Letoya is doing her thing as well. With that being said, we wanted to take it back to where it all started. When Destiny’s Child first came on the scene, did you think that they would ever get as big as they’ve become? Did you think that Beyonce would become the mega superstar that she is today?

Solange Passes Out On A Flight Out Of NYC

SOLANGE KNOWLES was admitted to hospital when she collapsed after downing flu pills on a flight out of New York on Tuesday night. She was treated by medics after taking the capsules onboard a plane and suffering an adverse reaction to the medication. Her muddled mental state was laid bare in a series of bizarre postings on social networking website Twitter.com which she uploaded during the journey.

But three hours into the trip, her messages suddenly stopped after she complained of feeling sleepy – and three hours later she logged back on to the website to tell fans: “Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital?” Knowles is believed to have been heading back to her home in Los Angeles after attending the opening of an Armani store in New York on Tuesday evening.In a series of Twitter postings during the flight, she told fans how she had swallowed NyQuil tablets to treat a cold.
She wrote: “I took a nyquil and i think maybe im getting high off it because im not sleeping. maybe i should close my eyes…”
Minutes later she added, “think im certified loosing (sic) it on nyquil. going to sleep before i start freestyling on the plane… omg (Oh my God) i didnt know nyquil could do this to you. i took the pills tho. cant stomach cough syrup. trying to be proactive on this flight.”
She then added: “Never taking nyquil again. I feel so weird.”
The singer left further apparently random messages about various musicians and having “freezing” feet, before a break of three hours.
She then logged on again and wrote: “Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital? Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!… Guess I passed out! Scary. Hooked up to IV now . Apparantly I’m super dehydrated.
“I’ve never passed out before. S**t was like the movies. People standing over me saying ‘hello’… My mom is the best. LOL (laugh out loud). She’s like ‘Ain’t nothing wrong with this girl, she need some water and rest… Pull up the car!’ LOL
“I’m like still in shock. I’ve never passed out before. Think it was the nyquil too. I felt weird when I woke up. This has been the day from hell. I’m done with the second IV. I just want to get in the bed and lay with (son) Julez. That’s all I want.
The singer later confirmed she had been released following treatment, writing: “I’m out! yay!… they let me go….. Rest. Water. Rest. Water.” SOURCE
