6-Year-Old Thought to Die in Rare Case, Now Doctors Fear More are at Risk (Video)

When Marijo De Guzman and Jose Ramirez took their 6-year-old son Daniel to the hospital, they thought he had a common cold and was feeling dizzy. Then in just a few hours Daniel became paralyzed, and eventually, he passed away. Doctors believed he had a very rare illness, but now cases of it have been reported in 33 states in the US, with 9 recent occurrences in children in the Seattle area.
