Muslim Woman Breaks Down Barriers in Miss USA Pageant (Video)

19-year-old Halima Aden is considered a pioneer within her community. Aden is the first Somali-American woman to participate in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant and while competing she wore a hijab and stayed covered up during the swimsuit competition. Aden says many of the other contestants were supportive, and while she didn't win, she made positive headlines for her community and culture.
